The Brief

Due to their continued expansion and proposed redevelopment of their current office site, Brogan group contacted Oaktree Interiors following a recommendation by a local commercial agency.

A meeting and site survey was held at their new 13,000 sq. ft. office in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire.

The requirement of the project was to create a vibrant and contemporary new office space across the two floors, comprising of new offices, large open plan office spaces, break-out areas on each floor, meeting rooms, a large state-of-the-art boardroom, collaboration spaces, a newly designed reception and a refurbishment of the toilet facilities.

What Oaktree Delivered

Within the 16 weeks that we were on site, we got to work stripping out most of the existing fittings, including the carpets and ceiling.

A completely new air conditioning system was installed to serve the entire building with heating and cooling. A new ceiling grid was installed with new LED lighting and bulkheads were formed to create a ‘framed’ look to the glazing of the new offices, meeting rooms and break-out area. Copy areas and tea points were installed, incorporating some of the latest furniture solutions, such as pods, to provide various relaxing areas around the office.

A full electrical and data installation also included the creation of a secure communications room. All new furniture was specified and installed throughout the space, helping all the design elements to glue together.

We finished off the project with the creation of the new welcoming reception area, creating a perfect place for Brogan Group’s potential customers to get a great first impression of their company.
