Our Client's Requirement

Following some fantastic feedback from the previous Reading project we completed for Robert Half, they invited the Oaktree team back to view alternative floors within the Whitefriars building in Bristol. Having occupied their current space for over 13 years, they took the opportunity to relocate to another floor to create more impact with the office fit-out and to keep in line with their Reading office design scheme.

Oaktree provided general space plans and budget fit-out proposals to assist the client in reaching an informed decision as to which floor would be best suited for their requirements.

The focus for this project was to create new meeting/training/interview rooms, a new boardroom, a new breakout area and an IT server room, for all 60 staff to enjoy. We were also required to install new office furniture throughout the space, along with LED lighting and AC adjustments.

What Oaktree Delivered

We developed the initial designs to incorporate all departmental specific requirements, whilst also creating a space that provided a strong visual identity for both Robert Half and Proviti.

Large graphic walls depicting local points of interest in strategic locations provided a strong Bristol identity whilst also injecting a sense of fun and colour into the environment. The corporate colour palette was used to give a strong identity to the meeting rooms and collaborative spaces. 3D acoustic coloured cork boards had a double use of acoustic baffles and bump rails for furniture.

The breakout area was located to create a central hub/social area between workspace and meeting rooms. It has a strong identity with seating booths, lockers and a bespoke ski jump bench which sits as the focal point to the space.

The office space is functional and modern with glass whiteboards & TV screens. The use of heritage brick wallpaper on the central columns helps to give the space a softer and eclectic feel, emphasised by the hanging picture frames on the columns.

Robert Half now have an office space that is both practical and fun, enabling staff to work more effectively and collaboratively.
