From award-winning PC components and peripherals to premium streaming equipment and smart ambient lighting, they deliver a full ecosystem of products that work together to enable everyone, from casual gamers to committed professionals, to perform at their very best.
Their hardware is regularly featured in showcase “dream systems," and they have earned the adulation and respect of the press, professional gamers and overclockers, high-end system integrators, and PC enthusiasts worldwide by delivering leading-edge technology backed by renowned service and support.
They have developed a global operations infrastructure with extensive marketing and distribution channel relationships, and their products are available through leading distributors and retailers in over sixty countries worldwide.
In the new office, we incorporated enough variety of seating space for staff to take breaks or have an informal meeting, as well as provided private Boardrooms for client, and more private staff, meetings.
Noise reduction was important so we installed a white noise to be played throughout the open-plan space to minimise sound travel. A fresh, bright breakout area was created with feature ceiling baffles and a herringbone flooring design.
Upon entering the office we created a modern, eye-catching 'Mud Room' for employees and visitors to wash hands and sanitise. Avoiding the clinical look, we made sure to design a space that was inviting, dark but cosy, and incorporating biophilic features to connect with the outdoors.
The project ran smoothly and our client was very happy with the end result, ready to move staff back into the office.
As a returning client, we were overjoyed to assist with this client's office relocation from Wokingham to Winnersh.
Expanding their space to 8,000 sq. ft to accommodate their ever-growing team, Winnersh Triangle Business Park was the ideal location with great public transport and road links.
Due to us here at Oaktree only having fitted out their previous office space a couple of years ago, our client was keen to reuse furniture and a few décor items, therefore we got to work designing their new space so that this would accommodate these requirements.
Other than this, the rest of the areas required a completely new fit-out, such as the kitchen/breakout area, new booth space, meeting rooms, and a bespoke sanitising station named 'The Mud Room' on entering the office.
The office area, being open plan, required noise reduction strategies to decrease the sound travel. The design brief was to create a colourful and welcoming, safe space that did not look or feel clinical.
"Just as the first UK lockdown kicked in, in mid-2020, we found ourselves having to move our EMEA head office, based in the UK, to a new location. In the recent past, we had a great end-to-end experience with the Oaktree team. But after they had left the site, the building receptionists made the specific point of saying to me how much they had appreciated the good manners and great communication of the Oaktree team and, in their words, “they would miss them”.
