Canterbury Travel's Challenge

Canterbury Travel is a family-owned business that, for the last 35 years, has been trading from its original offices in Northwood. They are the UK's leading operators for holidays to Lapland. The company's offices occupy two connected high-street fronted retail outlets, but are instead used entirely as an office space.

Oaktree's Solution

Following a survey of the two inter-connecting high street units, we came up with a design that completely modernised the accommodation, including a complete re-look of the back office areas too as these areas connect the two separate sides of the building. Our plan and scope included for new ceilings and flooring throughout, new furniture, a new break-out area, a shower facility and the conversion of a store room in to a bright, modern meeting room. A large amount of storage cabinets were removed and replaced with floor to ceiling store walls, helping create a much brighter more functional space. Winter and Christmas images were used in the final decor to help create the 'magic' for which Canterbury Travel have become renowned in this market.

What Oaktree Delivered

Canterbury Travel, is the UK's leading leading tour operator specialising in winter holidays to Lapland. Based in Northwood, Middlesex. The company contacted Oaktree to help them completely re-design and fit-out their high street offices to reflect their new brand image and product.
