Another example of this is our latest endeavour for Phantom Brewing Co.
A brand-new private enterprise that specialises in the creation of a wide variety of craft ales, Phantom Brewing were seeking to install dedicated facilities to support their operations involved in brewing beer. Taking place throughout a warehouse environment in Reading, once our initial meetings had interpreted what the company needed, we immediately got to work, creating the design.
In addition to creating the facilities necessary for a brewery to be active and to thrive, we will be ensuring that the site has ample power supplies, air-controlled environments, water supply and waste systems (alongside the usual health and safety/public health provisions).
The most creative aspect of this installation (providing excitement to the beer fans amongst our crew!) is the development of a customer-facing 'taproom'. This is an area in which the public can visit to try and taste the ales that Phantom brew; they can stay for a few hours or simply stop off for a swift one whilst their beer order is being prepared for collection.
The office design brief we were given for this was to create a vibrant environment whose branding was based on being 'an extension of the brewing area', allowing the company the opportunity to display their merchandise and the menu of ales on offer. The area also provides a meeting place for their customers to gather and to share their thoughts and views on the beers and wide range of flavours. So not only will this project allow the brewery to create their ales and to serve them up it will also create a community around their brand; great to garner long-term custom, you'd imagine. We'll drink to that!
This fit out project will start presently and we are delighted to be trusted with such an impactful project, as well as looking forward to being invited to the opening night! Cheers!
