We are very pleased to announce that our office fit out team has just completed a multi-tenant workspace in Birmingham for TCN UK.
The client is a provider of office space that is designed to 'enable business growth and positive change'. With their mantra being 'Creative Places for Curious Minds', we knew it was vital to understand precisely what the client was looking for – here's how we went about this exciting project.
The design that TCN needed should encourage local and national tenants to collaborate, so we were tasked with dividing an entire floor into four separate suites. Our team worked tirelessly to design two larger suites and two smaller suites, ensuring that each partition was functional and efficient.
With new LED lighting installed throughout the space, we were able to create a bright and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for whatever business endeavours lie ahead. And, to ensure that each suite was outfitted with the necessary amenities, we split the existing air conditioning works and electrics into separate units.
The exposed walls of the building were double fire boarded up to a height of 4.2 meters, and we carefully taped and jointed them before adding the finishing touches with beautiful decorations. Not only did we complete the beautiful floor finishes, but our carpentry work gracefully flowed through the floor as well. We also installed advanced door entry systems and fire alarms to ensure the utmost security and safety for our client.
Once completed and signed off, the two smaller suites were occupied very quickly by TCN's existing tenants who are expanding, and the two larger suites are being viewed constantly, with lots of interest from potential clients. TCN are delighted with the work we performed and we are currently carrying out similar work on another floor in this building.
