We may only be a few weeks into the New Year but the team here at Oaktree are already busy planning, designing and building new office interiors for our ever-growing client base. One of our latest projects is for Corsair Components Inc. who were requiring office design services to create them a unique and innovative workplace at their new location at West Forest Gate, Wokingham.

This was something that Corsair Components understood and were seeking office relocation services to help them realise their perfect interiors – we were well-placed to assist them.

Who are Corsair Components?

Originally founded in California, USA in 1994, Corsair has since grown from pioneering the high-performance DRAM market to become a world leader in the provision of enthusiast-grade PC components and peripherals. Their unique work can be found in high-performance memory, ultra-efficient power supplies, PC cases, cooling solutions and hard storage devices all across the world.

In recent years, the company have established Corsair Gaming to further improve theirtechnology. Their products include gaming keyboards, mice, headsets and mousemats that have been used by a wide range of gamers – from those who play forfun in their spare time, right through to full-time eSports professionals.

The hardware created by Corsair is regularly featured in industry showcases and their products services and support have also earned a leading reputation and respect from customers, the press and high-end system integrators alike. This great service is no doubt helped by Corsair's development of a global infrastructure that allows them to create extensive marketing and distribution channels in over sixty countries around the world.

Corsair Components' new office design in Wokingham

Seeking a new office space to aid potential future expansion, Corsair's Berkshire operation decided upon a first floor suite,located on the east wing of West Forest Gate, in the centre of Wokingham. Our office design services were highly recommended to the company by a local commercial agent and once our Business Development team were in contact, we were invited to undertake a survey of their new office space and to discuss their project brief.

Comprising of 3,228 sqft of space, the previous tenant of the building left some partition walls, which the project brief indicated would have to be stripped out in order to create new meeting rooms and manager offices to meet Corsair's specifications.

After holding a number of additional meetings, which included more site surveys, as well as furniture showroom visits, we created an office design and plan that met each and every specification the company had. The new office fit out will comprises of:

Open plan office space to accommodate 21 staff.
Sufficient space to potentially cater for an additional 16 extra members of staff.
Various visual graphics and colour schemes on walls and in furniture, that emphasise the company's branding ideals.

New flooring features.
Installation of LED lighting.
New kitchen and breakout areas.
A games room.
New boardroom.
Completely new furniture throughout.

The works will commence presently, with a completion date set for late February 2018 – giving the company a great opportunity to settle into their new office space for the year ahead.
