Oaktree Interiors Featured In Series 9 Of ‘The Sheriffs Are Coming’

Primetime viewers were treated to a level of gravitas so rarely seen on television these days, as Oaktree Interiors CEO, Perry Mills, was featured in BBC One's 'The Sheriffs Are Coming'!

This long-running fly-on-the-wall documentary series follows the work of High Court Enforcement Officers (HCEOs), and the opening episode of Series 9 (broadcast on Tuesday 29th September 2020), featured Perry's attempt to recover a loss placed on the company, after being let down by a supplier.

As Oaktree Interiors strive to offer completely bespoke office refurbishments and a wide range of other workplace solutions, it's important that we're able to demonstrate the lengths we will go to, to provide the highest quality of service. So (spoilers!) while we were happy to recover the loss, we are especially pleased the programme gave us an opportunity to communicate our intent to provide only the best materials in our custom office designs.

Unfortunately, the work was met with several delays and despite our various attempts to communicate with the supplier, the entire project ran over. Eventually, the gold-plated fittings were delivered to us, but they were of a sub-standard quality so we were unable to use them. Instead, we sought out another gold-plating service and they were able to get the work done in quick-time, producing perfect gold-plated fittings that enabled us to complete the project to the client's satisfaction.

Aside from the monetary loss Oaktree suffered, what particularly rankled with Perry was the sense of disappointment experienced by not delivering on the deadline we promised. Therefore he opened legal proceedings against the company; and despite the judgement being awarded to us, we never received repayment. This led to him calling in the HCEOs to recover our costs; the events of which we are delighted to say were documented by the television series.
